Welcome back to school.

Welcome back to school and the start of the summer term.  I hope you had a relaxing break and the children are refreshed and ready for the busy term ahead.

In maths, we are continuing to learn about mass and capacity and this week they have been fully engaged in some practical activities, measuring and recording in millilitres and litres.

In English, we have started to explore the features of non-chronological reports and the children have been developing their knowledge of natural disasters and technical language in readiness for writing their own reports.

Reading books will be sent home on Friday and must be returned on Wednesday.  

Reading records need to be filled in at least three times a week and signed by an adult at home and brought into school on Wednesdays for us to check. 

Maths and English homework is on Doodle Learning.  The children have their own login and this can be found inside their orange reading record books.  Homework is set on a Friday and should be completed by the following Wednesday.  Please let me know if you have any issues with completing the homework.
