This week, the children had a wonderful time exploring colour mixing! Using playdough, water, paint and shaving foam, we investigated what happens when different colours blend together. The children loved discovering all the new colours they could create.
We also began writing our letters to Santa. The children enjoyed looking through magazines and choosing pictures to show the things they would like for Christmas.
Outside the children had an exciting time going on a bug hunt in the garden, searching through squishy mud and peeking under old tyres. They loved exploring every hidden corner, wondering what tiny creatures they might discover. Their biggest thrill came when they uncovered a wriggly worm, which they carefully observed before gently placing it back in its home.
On Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome so many parents and carers to our Christmas Stay and Play session. The children had lots of fun showing you all the exciting activities they enjoy when you’re not here. Everyone got involved in some festive fun, including making reindeer food, decorating Christmas trees and creating pretend “biscuits” with our gingerbread playdough!
A big thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us, we had such a lovely time!
