It has been a wonderful and busy week in class!
In Maths, we have now finished our topic on area, perimeter and volume. The children worked extremely hard throughout the unit and showed great perseverance when applying their knowledge to more challenging problems. Next, we will be moving on to our new topic of statistics, where we will be learning about different types of graphs and how to interpret data.
This week has also been World Book Week, and it has been fantastic to celebrate our love of reading together. On Monday, we kicked off the week with fantastic visits from authors Neal Zetter and Athena Kugblenu, who shared their experiences and inspired the children with their creativity and passion for writing.
Throughout the week, teachers have been visiting different classrooms and leading a range of exciting activities. The children have enjoyed making books, creating sweets, designing new Roald Dahl characters and taking part in many other creative tasks. It has been wonderful to see the enthusiasm and effort everyone has put into the week.
We also loved seeing everyone’s fantastic costumes on World Book Day, there were so many amazing outfits and creative ideas!
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and look forward to another great week ahead.
