Miss Baker - Monday - Friday (am)
Mrs Pereira - Wednesday and Friday (all day)
If you need to get in contact for any reason please use this email address: maddied@spmillend.herts.sch.uk. I will aim to get back to you no later than 48 hours from receiving your email. If it's urgent please speak to the School office who will pass the message on.
Homework and reading books will be sent home on a Friday and must be returned on Wednesday.
Reading records need to be filled in at least three times a week and signed by an adult at home and brought into school on Wednesdays for us to check.
Please remember to send your child in with a water bottle and a healthy snack. If you would like your child to walk home on their own please email the school or bring a letter in to let us know.
Check our class page for regular updates, from our class blogger, about what we have been learning!
We look forward to a great year.

Welcome back and Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a lovely, restful Christmas break. It has been great to see the children back in school and quickly getting back into the routine – things have already been very busy!
In Maths, we are continuing with our Algebra topic. The children have been working very hard and are showing great enthusiasm and perseverance when tackling new challenges.
In English, the children have begun their independent writing. They are writing poems based on the theme of evolution and change, and we can’t wait to read the finished pieces – there have already been some very creative ideas!
We have started our new class text, When the Sky Falls by Phil Earle. So far, we have read the first three chapters and are getting to know the main characters, Joseph and Mrs F. The children are really engaged and are looking forward to seeing how the story develops, while also continuing to practise their VIPERS reading skills.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend and we look forward to another positive and productive week ahead!
