This week in phonics we will be focusing on Phase 4 CCVCC, CCCVC and CCCVCC words.
The new tricky words this week are: were, here, little, says.
Please continue to practise phonics sounds and tricky words at home.
Please ensure that reading books and reading records are sent into school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and please sign each time your child reads.

This week the children will be:
Completing simple repeating patterns in F1 maths.
Subitising number dots and matching them to their numeral F2 maths.
Role-playing life at a garden centre, selling and buying seeds, plants and flowers.
Using real flowers to inspire observational paintings of flowers and leaves.
Building their own roof top garden in the construction area.
Writing CVCC words on the phonics table.
Using their imagination to create flowers and plants in the creative area.
Writing sentences about gardens, remembering to use capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.
