This week we are exploring the book Surprising Sharks by Nicola Davies. The children will be discovering fascinating facts about sharks and learning that these amazing sea creatures are often very different from what people expect. We will be focusing on non-fiction texts, finding out about different types of sharks, where they live, and how they survive in their ocean habitats. We will explore sea environments, learn about marine life and food chains, and think about why sharks are important to our oceans.
