 We are very excited to share our performance of the Sleepy Shepherd with you all this week. We are so proud of how hard the children have worked to learn lines, songs and actions!

We will continue with the story of the nativity.

We will be recapping all the sounds and tricky words we have learnt so far.

The children will be completing their Autumn 2 Phonics Assessment this week. 

Please continue to practise phonics sounds and tricky words at home.

Continuous Provision 

This week the children will be:

Practising their counting and subitising.

Role-playing being busy elves in Santa's Christmas Post Office.

Painting Christmas pictures using stencils.

Building cvc phonics snowmen.

Collaborating to construct buildings or vehicles. 

Writing lists of the presents that Santa has in his sack.

Exploring the 'winter wonderland' in the 'Polar Express' themed small world area.

Investigating bubble foam snow in the sensory tray.

Along with many other exciting activities!
