Welcome to Year 1

Welcome to a brand-new school year! I am so excited to be your child’s teacher and to begin our learning journey together. Year 1 is a very important and exciting step, full of new skills, discoveries, and adventures. This year, we will explore stories, numbers, the world around us, and lots of creative activities that help each child grow in confidence and curiosity.

We aim to create a happy, safe, and inspiring classroom where every child feels valued and encouraged to try their best. With your support, I know this will be a wonderful year of learning and fun.

I look forward to working with you and getting to know your children as we make Year 1 a memorable part of their school journey.

This half term, PE will take place on Tuesday's and Thursday's . Please come to school wearing your PE kit on both days.

Please remember to send your child in with a water bottle. A healthy snack will be provided at break time.
