Easter Play 2019 'Daniel, a Hard Act to Swallow'.

Year 3 and 4 went back to the old testament for their annual performance this year.  'Daniel, a Hard Act to Swallow' tells the story of 'Daniel in the Lions' Den'.  In this Bible story Daniel is the king's favourite, much to the annoyance of some rivals.  Daniel believes in God and will not worship the Babylonian gods.  The rivals hatch a plan to make it illegal to worship any other gods and when Daniel is caught praying, he is sent to the lion pit, much to the distress of the king.  God sends an angel to calm the lions and Daniel's life is saved.

The children in Y4 enacted the play beautifully with some great solos and wonderful singing support from Y3.  Thank you for a memorable show.
