SCHOOL UNIFORM

We do not have a gender specific uniform and as such we would not challenge children to wear 'gender' specific clothing.

Nursery:

Children may wear uniform or informal wear in school colours, which are bottle green and white.  Parents are asked to send their children in clothes and shoes which enable the children to be as independent as possible when changing shoes and getting ready for P.E.  Shoes with velcro fastenings and straps are recommended.

Uniform List:

White shirt with school tie (Optional)

white blouse

White or bottle green polo shirt

Grey trousers, long or short

Grey pinafore or skirt

Bottle green V-neck or round neck pullover, school sweatshirt or bottle green cardigan

White/green/black socks/tights

Green and yellow stripped tie

Dark shoes (not trainers)

Wellingtons for Forest School

School sweatshirts, cardigans and ties can be bought from school on Fridays. Book bags are also available.  Shoes should be sensible with a low heel.  Long hair (over shoulder length) should be kept tied back with a discreet band.  There is flexibility to take account of religious, cultural, non-binary and disability requirements in dress. Trainers and sweatshirts that are not school uniform will not be permitted. This will result in the children being asked to remove them and appropriate will be provided for the day.

Summer Uniform - it is not compulsory to swap to the summer option in the summer term

The uniform is as above with these options:

Green and white gingham check dress or green and white candy striped dress

Plain, dark sandals  or white sandals

P.E. Kit:

Black or green shorts

White or Green T – shirt.

Trainers

Jogging bottoms and top for the winter

Parents and carers may prefer children to wear football boots rather than trainers for football in Years 5 and 6.

All items should be kept in a named PE bag.

Please ensure all items of clothing are clearly and indelibly labelled with your child’s name

Jewellery is not allowed for health and safety reasons the school staff cannot be responsible for its loss or damage. Only one pair of studs is suitable for pierced ears.
